If driving, it takes only 5 mins to get onto both the M8, M77 and M74, Glasgow's main motorways. There are lots of cafes, diners and take ways and within a 10-15 min walk you have Strathbungo and Shawlands both of which have a plethora of restaurants and bars. There is a convenience store within a minute's walk of the apartment and a sainsbury's Local a 10 min walk away. 5 min walk to Pollokshields Est train station which will take you into Glasgow central within 5 mins. Trains run every 16 mins. A 12 min walk to Sheilds Rd Subway will take into the town centre within 9 mins. the Subway trains run every 6 mins. The numbers 121, 59 and 90 buses will take you across Glasgow and run regularly You can also make use of the affordable taxis and Uber, particularly if you are carrying heavy bags.
